Home health aides are good cooks and very attentive to your goals for the day. My nurse Shaunna comes to check on my medications and that I have taken them correctly. My needs and errands are always completed and they have helped me get back on my feet since I’ve been home as I had nothing there when I returned. Brian Juul is very responsive to our request for private pay services consult with our patients and families. Brian calls the family within hours of receiving the request and families appreciate his quiet, patient explanation of what Legacy can offer. When I call to follow up with our patients post discharge very rarely is there an issue with the service Legacy provide. When there is an issue, Brian listens and follows up promptly. I recommend Legacy to any patient that is looking at private pay services especially when they have veteran benefits due them. I appreciate having a company that stands by their promise of offering services and following through.

We suddenly needed 24/7 nursing care for my mother-in-law last week. At 96 she was living independently in her own home, but that changed dramatically with a single hospitalization/illness. She absolutely did not want to live anywhere but her home of almost 50 years. So with the hospital’s help and recommendation, we called Legacy HC. The meeting went very well, and treated my husband’s Mom respectfully. And the rep took time to learn about her life and likes, in order to match her with a compatible care give. We struck gold! From our first handshake, I knew Kathy D. was perfect. Marge thought so too. In the 5 days they had together, Kathy brought such happiness and care to the home. They had the same favorite Twin’s player so the last 2 games Marge watched were so fun for her. And Kathy sat and listened to Marge’s stories and kept her from being lonely by holding her hand at night when she said she felt scared. Besides being a nice person, Kathy was so professional, efficient and calm. She worked smoothly with hospice and knew when to call for additional help. She let Marge keep her dignity by being clean and groomed at all times. When an uncomfortable family situation came up the last night, she handled it with ease, and that helped everyone cope. Marge passed away peacefully in her own home/bedroom exactly as she had hoped, and Kathy made that possible. I would recommend Kathy and Legacy Home Care to anyone.
